This training is on the Autonomous but Not Alone: Navigating Students through Drug-Related Risk Toolkit. This toolkit for school-based staff, stresses the importance of building relationships and using a harm reduction approach to help empower youth to avoid and reduce risk associated with substance misuse. The interactive training provides guidance on setting the tone for conversations with a focus on confidentiality and key scenarios related to substance misuse often encountered in school settings such as riding and driving; youth worried for a friend; conflicts; and engaging reluctant youth.
